Since we were children, we all have dreamed about the future in both realistic and unrealistic ways. I still dream about doing good in the world, about having a family someday, a house with numerous little animals running around, and hosting family dinners.
Besides going back to your family, your friends may miss you and you can hang out with them again and do all the stuff you did with them you did before you left for college, like sneaking into movie theaters, breaking into abandoned buildings, etc.
It really is a wonder how the world is changing all around us with every action people take and how it affects many people. The mask policy has changed our entire society into a place of new and improved ways about the world.
While attending this protest, one of the organizers said something that struck me: “We can’t fight the military in Burma here in Utica, but we can love our neighbor.” We all want to change the world for the better, and the place we can do that most effectively is our backyard.
