Video Game Releases for 2022
There is a wide range of people who love video games. There are a lot of video games that were made over the past couple of months. Some were good, others great, and some were terrible. Deathloop, I heard, was a fantastic game. Call of Duty Vanguard was decent, in my opinion. I thought that Marvel’s Avengers was terrible. There were a couple of games that were supposed to be released this year, but got delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. So, the year is about to end and now we look toward the future of gaming.
God of War is coming to PC on January 14th, 2022. Rainbow Six Extraction comes to PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, Stadia and PC on January 20th, 2022. Pokémon Legends: Arceus (Switch) – January 28th, 2022. Finally, Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves collection comes to PS5, and PC arrives the same day as Pokémon. February is more of the mystical collection with Life is Strange Remastered Collection coming to PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, Switch and PC on February 1st, 2022. The Waylanders is a day after that coming to PC February 2nd, 2022. Horizon Forbidden West is coming to PS5 and PS4 on February 18th, 2022. Finally, Elden Ring is coming to PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One and PC releasing on February 25th, 2022.
March has some magical releases such as Elex II coming to PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One and PC on March 1st, 2022. Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous on PS4 and Xbox One as well on March 1st, 2022. Gran Turismo coming to PS5 and PS4 releasing on March 4th, 2022, and Stranger of Paradise Final Fantasy Origin coming on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One and PC releasing on March 18th, 2022. April only has two games called 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim coming to Switch releasing on April 12th, 2022, and S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chernobyl coming to Xbox Series X/S and PC releasing on April 28th, 2022. May also has two games releasing called Vampire: The Masquerade – Swansong coming to PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, Switch and PC releasing on May 19th, 2022, and Sons of the Forest coming to PC releasing on May 20th, 2022.
August has a game that I am looking forward to, and that is Saints Row coming to PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One and PC releasing August 23rd, 2022. September and November also have one game releasing. First is Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown coming to PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, Switch and PC releasing on September 22nd, 2022. Second is Starfield coming to Xbox Series X/S and PC releasing on November 11th, 2022. Those are all the titles that are coming out with release dates.
There are games with no confirmation as of yet. These games include Gotham Knights, Batman Is Dead, and Nightwing. Batgirl, Robin, and Red Hood, take over as the next people to protect the city against the Court of Owls. It comes out on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4 and Xbox One and sometime in 2022. Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, where you play as Harley Quinn, King Shark, Deadshot and Captain Boomerang against the Justice League where they have been corrupted by Brainiac. It hits only next gen consoles such as PS5 and Xbox Series X/S sometime in 2022. Lego Star Wars the Skywalker Saga comes out for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PC and Mac. This game tells all the Star Wars movies in Lego form. God of War Ragnarök also doesn’t have a confirmed release date, but it is coming out for PS5 and PS4. GTA V the next gen update is supposed to come out either early or late 2022. That is all the game releases for coming for 2022. Hopefully I can play them in 2022, because I don’t want to wait anymore.
